The Atlanta Braves end the season as NL's best

After not being picked as a prediction to win the NL East, the Atlanta Braves suprised everybody by not only winning the NL East but by going 102-60!!

They had decent batting like everybody else but what made them stand out was their pitching; both in the bullpen and in the rotation.

The Braves' manager told reporters that " you won't win a ballgame if you don't have great pitching. But if you do have great pitching and alright batting, that's how you're gonna win some ballgames."

Overall, The Braves had two starting pitchers who were 21 game winners (Tim Lincecum and Felix Hernandez) and one 15 game winner (Ricky Nolasco) to lead the way.

Their bullpen was great, due especially to the great seasons Luebke, Rivera and Elbert. In addition, Hansworth pitched some good baseball for the Braves and Sipp was decent while Jo-Jo Reyes got the job done, being a starter in the bullpen, as a long reliever.

The Braves hitting was lead by 1B Paul Konerko (32 HR) and by OF Josh Hamilton (31 HR).

This team might be underatted but I, habsco think that they can win the World Series... Do you?
