Pennantchase PreSeason Ranking

Its a new season in MLB: THE SHOW and that means that we are in for another great season. And with the new season come new hope for owners that this year can be THEIR year. With the the season going to start tonight, I give you pennantchase's preseason ranking of teams in order of team strength.

Remember, this list is just how pennantchase ranks the teams and does not take into account how young or old a team is. Also, realize that pennantchase hasn't done a very good job in predicting the success of teams with their power ranking. Last year, the Atlanta Braves were ranked 23rd and won the World Series. The Mariners were ranked 24th and won the AL. The Rays were ranked 26th and won a league high 107 games. On the other hand, the Pirates were ranked 5th and ended up with the first pick, going a league worst 54-108. Despite these teams that didn't play to what pennantchase expected, there were many teams that pennantchase was right about. So ultimately, while these rankings should be taken into account, remember that they are still preseason rankings. Not a game has begun. We still have a crazy 162 games left to play.

So without further adieu, I give you Pennanchase's Preseason Power Rankings for the 2012 season. And as always, the teams are ranked from worst to best.
